Director of Development

This is a full-time salaried role that is responsible for creating, directing, and implementing a comprehensive annual fundraising plan that supports current operations through cultivation of the Annual Fund, management of the annual signature fundraiser Hearts on Fire, and grant-writing, as well as providing support for our capital campaign, and planned giving initiatives. Vice President of Advancement

Parish Life Director

In this new position, the parish life director will work with the parish leadership team in developing and implementing parish programs, including programs for young adults and new parishioners. In addition, the director will oversee a variety of parish organizations, and aggressively promote parish life through digital social media.

Event Planner and Property Operations

Bellarmine Jesuit Retreat House
Barrington, IL

The full-time event planner and retreat coordinator will be the primary point of contact for retreat house events and will coordinate all contracts and schedules for on-site group retreats and private retreats. Our event planner will report to the Associate Director.  This team member will ensure we are prepared to receive groups and guests for all calendared events and manage and schedule retreat inquiries according to our mission.  He/she will collaborate with our Executive Chef in managing the kitchen and also strengthen our internal team by providing office support, coordinating in-house team events and fostering a positive, collaborative and joyful work environment.

Grants Officer

Red Cloud Indian School

The Grants Officer is an integral position to ensure the success of RCIS’ advancement efforts. In coordination with the grants team, the Grants Officer will manage several relationships in Red Cloud’s current portfolio of 200 grantmakers, and you will work in partnership with Red Cloud’s leadership to identify, cultivate, and steward funding opportunities from additional funders, including private foundations, corporations, and public agencies. 

You will manage a large portfolio of education, arts, and general operating-related grants and proactively prepare, write, submit, and track all grant writing proposals, reporting deliverables and stewardship materials for these funders.  You will work also in partnership with Red Cloud’s leadership to identify, cultivate, and steward funding opportunities from additional funders, including private foundations, corporations, and public agencies. Other primary responsibilities include supporting Red Cloud leadership and program departments on an overall funding strategy, including the implementation of Red Cloud’s strategic plan, general support, and capital needs during a time of rapid growth and high expectations.
